Toke Makinwa has marked her first Mother’s Day
with a heartfelt message, expressing gratitude to her daughter, Yaya,
for making her a mother.
The media personality shared the emotional note on her
Instagram page, revealing that one of the highlights of the special day was
receiving personalized Mother’s Day messages because of her daughter.
In her post, Toke described her child as a blessing
who has brought ease and joy into her life.
“My very first Mother’s Day. Adunola, today I call you
my sweetness,” she wrote.
She referred to her daughter as her “first fruit” and
said the little girl has made motherhood feel effortless.
“Ease is what you have brought; you make being your
mommy easy. God, thank you for blessing me with this sweet angel,” she added.
Toke also offered heartfelt prayers for her daughter,
wishing that she would always keep her smile, never experience sadness or loss,
and grow up to serve God while shining His light to others.
She further extended her wishes to mothers around the
world, celebrating them for their role while praying that those hoping for
children would also experience the joy of motherhood.
