The Federation Account Allocation Committee (FAAC) has
distributed a total sum of N2.094 trillion to the federal, state, and
local governments for October 2025.
The allocation was finalized during FAAC’s November
meeting in Abuja, chaired by the Accountant-General of the Federation, Shamsudeen
B. Ogunjimi.
Breakdown of the Revenue Sources
The shared amount was drawn from the N2.934
trillion gross revenue, comprising:
FAAC noted that N115.278 billion was deducted
as the cost of revenue collection, while N724.603 billion was allocated
for transfers, interventions, and refunds.

VAT Revenue Declines by N152.8 Billion
FAAC reported that VAT revenue for October stood at N719.827
billion, marking a drop from the N872.630 billion recorded in
September.
After deducting the cost of collection (N28.793
billion) and transfers/refunds (N20.731 billion), the remaining N670.303
billion was shared as follows:
Statutory Revenue Rises to N2.164 Trillion
Gross statutory revenue for October increased to N2.164
trillion, up by N36.832 billion from the previous month.
After statutory deductions—N84.490 billion for the
cost of collection and N703.872 billion for transfers and refunds—the balance
of N1.376 trillion was distributed:
Electronic Money Transfer Levy (EMTL)
A total of N49.865 billion from EMTL was shared
among the three tiers:
FAAC added that N1.995 billion was taken as the
cost of collection.
