provider, has announced the commencement of a sweeping infrastructure and
customer experience upgrade, in a move set to transform digital connectivity
for homes and businesses across the country.
The upgrade, representing a multi-billion-naira
investment in next-generation technology and service innovation, will
deliver faster speeds, stronger reliability, and an enhanced digital experience
for FiberOne’s growing subscriber base. The initiative will be implemented in
phases over the next 15 months, with full completion targeted for October
2026.
According to the company, the project will focus on
two key areas:

Last-Mile FTTH Infrastructure
Enhancement – FiberOne will deploy next-generation XGSPON
fiber technology, boosting internet speed, reliability, and scalability.
This upgrade is designed to prepare its network for the future demands of smart
homes, 4K/8K streaming, cloud services, and Nigeria’s expanding digital
economy.
2.
Customer Experience Transformation
– Alongside network improvements, FiberOne will launch new digital
self-service tools, proactive support systems, and innovative service packages.
The upgrades will provide customers with greater control, improved service
restoration visibility, enhanced communications, and a new loyalty rewards
program.

The phased rollout will begin in Lagos, before
expanding to Abuja, Port Harcourt, and other key Nigerian cities. Customers in

transition and minimal service disruption.
