Abuja, April 22, 2025 (NAN)
— President Bola Ahmed Tinubu arrived in Abuja on Monday night following
a two-week working visit to Europe.
Touching down at 9:50 p.m. at the Presidential
Wing of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Tinubu was
welcomed by top government officials, including Secretary to the Government
of the Federation, Senator George Akume, FCT Minister Nyesom Wike,
and other senior aides.
The President had left Nigeria on April 2 for Paris,
France, where he met with Mr. Massad Boulos, the U.S. Department
of State’s Senior Advisor for Africa. The high-level discussions focused on
strengthening bilateral cooperation, enhancing regional security, and
promoting sustainable economic growth across the African continent.
Following his Paris engagements, Tinubu traveled to London
over the weekend, where he continued consultations and maintained constant
communication with officials in Abuja to ensure governance remained
uninterrupted.
