According to a report that was published on the
official X account of Daily Trust on Monday, the former governor of Kano
state, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso has reacted to claim that he has agreed to
serve for 4 years while the former governor of Anambra state, Peter Obi will
serve for 8 years.
According to the report, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso claimed
that some clerics were gathered and told that he had agreed a deal with the
former Vice President of Nigeria, Atiku Abubakar and Peter Obi. The former
governor of Kano state said the statement is not true.
He said he was really angry when he heard about
the fabricated story. He said there is no agreement between the three of
them.
According to Daily Trust, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso said;
“I was told that nearly 45 clerics were gathered and
informed about this fabricated story. I did not appreciate this at all. They
were told that I had agreed to a deal where Atiku would serve for four years, I
would serve for another four years, and Peter Obi would serve for eight years.
This is completely false; such an agreement never existed”.
