In a bid to further showcase Nigerian football talents
to the global market, the AMAPRO
Football Championship has signed a collaboration agreement with
EyeBall, a renowned technological and performance data company.
The landmark partnership was announced on Tuesday by
Shogo Shodunnke, the brain behind the AMAPRO tournament.
According to Shodunnke, the collaboration is necessary
as both parties share a similar vision of giving visibility to young football
talents and facilitating their development.
He added that EyeBall’s top-class quality in
harnessing talents using emerging technologies makes the AMAPRO Football
Championship the ideal platform to provide opportunities for untapped Nigerian
talents to sprout and advance youth games.
“As you know, the AMAPRO Football Championship is
organized to bridge the gap between professional and amateur footballers,
providing young talents with a platform to accelerate their progression,”
Shodunnke explained.
“Collaborating with a renowned organization like
EyeBall will enable us to achieve this goal in multiple ways.
“Most participating clubs in the AMAPRO tournament
require global visibility, and their players crave a platform to showcase their
skills and improve their game to attract bigger opportunities.
“We are confident that this partnership will yield
positive outcomes for both parties.”
