Three alleged internet fraudsters are currently being
held at the holding facility of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission,
EFCC, Uyo Zonal Directorate.
The all-male suspects were arrested on Wednesday, June
4, 2025, during an early morning sting operation at Mbierebe, Stadium Road,
Akpasak Estate, and Oron Road, all in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State.
Items recovered from them include: 4 mobile phones, a
desktop computer, a laptop and 2 cars.
They will be charged to court as soon as
investigations are concluded
