Nigerian-born pastor and founder of the now-defunct
SPAC Nation, Tobi Adegboyega, has announced that he is recovering well
following cancer surgery.
In a video message, the UK-based cleric said he is
preparing for the next stage of treatment — chemotherapy — while expressing
gratitude for the prayers and support from his congregation, family, and loved
ones.
“This is proof of life. I’m alive and I’m recovering.
I have gone through the surgery, and then there is the chemotherapy treatment
afterwards,” he said, adding that he has chosen to confront his health
challenge “like a man should.”
Adegboyega noted that his family is stronger than ever
and that the church is thriving despite his health struggles. He also revealed
plans to launch a new business, which he said was built without external
investors.
In June, Adegboyega disclosed his cancer diagnosis and
revealed he had undergone major surgery. He described his survival as a
“verdict to continue to live” given to him by God.
