Two Co-Wives Murdered in Night Attack in Kano Community

Two co-wives have been brutally murdered by unknown assailants in the Unguwar Tudun Yola area of Gwale Local Government Area, Kano State.

The victims, both married to Alhaji Ashiru Shu’aibu, were attacked in their home late Monday night. The incident has left the community in shock.

Speaking with Freedom Radio Nigeria on Friday, Alhaji Shu’aibu recounted the horrifying ordeal. He said the attackers broke into his residence while the family was asleep, killed his wives, and set one of the bodies ablaze.

“They entered our house at night, killed my wives, and then set one of the bodies on fire. I still don’t know why they carried out this wicked act,” he said.

Confirming the incident, the spokesperson of the Kano State Police Command, CSP Abdullahi Haruna Kiyawa, disclosed that a full investigation has commenced to uncover those responsible and the motive behind the attack.
